"Guangdong hopes to further enhance cooperation with Singapore in accelerating Guangdong's economic transformation growth mode and building of Guangdong into a strong cultural province." Said Liu Kun, Vice Governor of Guangdong Province at Singapore's 45th National Day reception in Guangzhou yesterday (Aug 9). It was also the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relationship between China and Singapore.
